Job Details
Work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
8-hour day shifts in clinic setting
Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M)
High School Graduate or GED equivalent required
Medical Radiographer: CA (MRAD:CA) required
Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) required
Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography required
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) preferred
One year experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist preferred
Six months experience in an outpatient environment preferred
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills essential
Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging required
Knowledge of proper operation and care of radiology diagnostic equipment required
Radiation safety knowledge required
Medical terminology and familiarity with electronic practice management system and PACS required
