We are looking for a
Senior QA Automation Engineer
with
8+ years of experience
in building and scaling automation frameworks for enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on expertise in
Selenium (Java), Cucumber, Playwright (TypeScript)
and strong exposure to
API automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps . This role requires ownership of automation strategy, framework stability, and quality assurance across multiple releases.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain
robust automation frameworks
using
Selenium with Java
and
Playwright with TypeScript
Lead
BDD automation
implementation using
Cucumber
and Gherkin
Automate
functional, regression, smoke, and integration
test suites
Perform
API testing and validation
using
Postman
and REST-based tools
Configure and manage test execution via
Azure DevOps pipelines
Review automation code, improve framework performance, and ensure reusability
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure release quality
Identify risks early, perform root-cause analysis, and drive defect resolution
Mentor junior QA engineers and enforce automation best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience
in
QA Automation Testing
Strong hands‑on experience with
Selenium WebDriver (Java)
Solid experience with
Playwright (TypeScript)
Extensive experience using
Cucumber (BDD framework)
Strong knowledge of
API Testing using Postman
Experience integrating automation with
CI/CD pipelines
Hands‑on experience with
Azure DevOps
(Pipelines, Repos, Boards)
Strong understanding of
SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Excellent debugging, analytical, and communications skills
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience with REST Assured or API automation frameworks
Exposure to microservices‑based architectures
Experience working in cloud or DevOps‑driven environments
Prior experience in mentoring or leading QA teams
