About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Manager - Site to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of site planning for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and timelines
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and workflow efficiency
Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery
Implement and manage project control systems to monitor progress, costs, and quality
Provide regular status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders
Lead and mentor a team of planning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to resolve planning-related issues and ensure project success
Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements
Utilize advanced planning tools and techniques to optimize site logistics and workflow
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify potential bottlenecks or challenges
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in site planning or construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
Advanced Excel skills and experience with resource allocation and optimization techniques
Strong knowledge of risk management, budgeting, and cost control in large-scale projects
Excellent understanding of construction industry regulations and best practices
Demonstrated expertise in site logistics and workflow optimization
Familiarity with environmental and safety compliance requirements in the construction industry
Outstanding leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
Experience working in the Middle East construction industry is a plus
