Manager, Product Development (Food Scientist – Beverage R&D)
Location Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Duration 6+ Months Contract with good chances of extension
Description Seeking an experienced Food Scientist to support sports drink product development within Global R&D. This role focuses on hands‑on beverage formulation, lab testing, and commercialization, supporting both new product innovation and existing product improvements. The ideal candidate has strong food science fundamentals, can lead projects independently, and collaborates effectively with cross‑functional teams and suppliers.
Requirements
BS/MS in Food Science (MS preferred)
5+ years of beverage or food product development experience
Strong knowledge of formulation, sensory, microbiology, and food chemistry
Experience taking products from concept to commercialization
Comfortable working onsite in a lab environment
