Job Summary Seeking an
Automation Controls Engineer
with minimum 7 years of hands‑on field experience installing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and qualifying industrial control systems.
Life Science experience is a must.
Extensive experience working with and around industrial equipment integration is a must.
Experience: 18 – 22 years
Required skills: DCS, PLC, SCADA
Responsibilities
Collaborate with IT and OT teams to integrate manufacturing equipment and systems into the data fabric architecture
Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for data acquisition, transformation, and transmission
Configure and troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and other industrial control systems
Ensure secure and reliable data flow from edge devices to central data platforms
Support the deployment of edge computing devices and IIoT gateways; document system configurations, workflows, and integration points
Provide technical support during commissioning and post‑deployment phases
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field; 7+ years in industrial automation and control systems
Strong hands‑on experience with PLC programming
Familiarity with SCADA systems, OPC UA/DA, MQTT, and industrial communication protocols
Experience with IIoT platforms and edge computing devices; deep expertise with Ignition by Inductive Automation; experience in GMP‑regulated environments
Familiarity with validation protocols IQ/OQ/PQ; knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
