Department of Restorative Dentistry is searching for multiple full-time, non-tenure track general dentist faculty positions at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor.
Responsibilities
Provide pre-doctoral education in fixed, removable, implant prosthodontics, occlusion, biomaterials, and operative dentistry.
Participate in pre-doctoral clinical teaching and the Departmental Master of Dental Science degree program.
Engage in scholarly activity, research, service, and directing preclinical courses.
Act as an advisor for students and lecture in departmental courses as directed.
Serve on committees as assigned and perform other duties as directed by the Chair.
Qualifications
DDS/DMD (or equivalent) degree.
New Jersey State dental license (or eligibility for a New Jersey State dental license or New Jersey Limited Teaching Certificate in Dentistry).
Previous academic teaching and proven research experience are preferred.
Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
Salary & Benefits Salary will be commensurate with experience, with a minimum of $142,332. Rutgers provides a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees:
