Location: Lincoln, NE
Hiring rate: $17.254 per hour

Duties
Coordinate and reconcile daily deposits
Prepare miscellaneous receipts
Process inmate payroll, including monitoring pay documents, reports, and activity to ensure inmate workers are paid correctly
Complete log for receiving/issuing pop tokens
Process inmate travel orders
Research confiscated appeals from inmates
Serve as contact for inmate accounting and coordinator of inmate payroll
Train supervisors to use inmate payroll software
Answer Inmate Interview Requests
Review electronic receipts
Assist business manager as needed
Review/approve all outgoing inmate institutional checks
Review, code, and approve purchasing documents
Facilitate American Correctional Association (ACA) file preparation for standards to assure accreditation
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Coursework or training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods, including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; or experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria/regulations; and/or performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum two years’ experience/training/education in administrative/office/clerical support functions. Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Other Applicants must pass a medical exam and a drug test at a randomly announced time. Upon acceptance, applicants must successfully complete the fully paid NE Corrections Training Program.
