Palm Point is currently recruiting for a Nursing Supervisor for our night shift. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the Child, Adolescent and Adult Units. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee all unit activities including admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, restraint and/or seclusion, Baker Acts, and relief for break or meals. The Nurse Supervisor manages the Nurses and Mental Health Techs working on the units as part of the nursing team, administers prescribed medications, and provides medication for the nursing staff when the Pharmacy is closed. The Nurse Supervisor will coordinate all medical codes, whether real or mock, and ensure they are carried out appropriately and safely. The Nursing Supervisor has the authority to make staffing changes as necessary.

Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74‑bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. Current AHA BLS Certification required or to be obtained prior to direct patient care.
Requires five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefer two (2) years in psychiatric nursing. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration.
