Staff Management : Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse personnel, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a positive team environment. Inventory Control : Oversee the receipt of stock, manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and implement systems to ensure proper storage and rotation (e.g., FIFO). Operational Oversight : Direct and coordinate daily activities such as receiving, putting away, pre-kitting, picking, and shipping of aerospace parts. Safety and Compliance : Enforce strict safety protocols, ensure the warehouse environment meets health, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100), and manage compliance with hazardous materials or special environmental controls. Process Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, minimize errors, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse. Task
Receiving : Inspect incoming deliveries, check for damage, and verify against purchase orders and invoices. Storing : Supervise the placement of received items into designated storage areas, ensuring proper segregation and organization. Shipping : Oversee the picking and packing of orders and prepare them for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to U.S. Government requirements and program instructions. Documentation : Maintain product documentation according to Stark policy and procedures for incoming and outgoing product. Performance Monitoring : Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to receiving rates, order fulfillment, and inventory accuracy. Qualifications
An associate degree or 5 years of proven supervisory experience in the aerospace industry are preferred. Strong record of streamlining logistics, continuous improvement, and execution to meet business objectives. Seniority level
