Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit. Cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values. Responds to and corrects guest complaints; ensures guest contact as a priority with required table visits. Maintains departmental inventory levels and ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks. Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands and maintains safety and security programs. Promotes restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation; performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs. Supports recruitment, training, and development of team members and managers; uses training systems and conducts evaluations. Monitors employee performance, provides feedback, and works with staff on development; ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. Controls costs in the assigned department and ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws. Drives inventory processes and submits accurate daily paperwork. Models professional conduct for managers and employees; develops self on store-related technology. Willing to work in all positions as needed (e.g., cooking on the line, expo, seating guests, bartending). Qualifications
At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience. ServSafe Food and ServSafe Alcohol certifications are a plus. Compensation
Applebee's® Assistant Managers: $20.98 to $27.27 per hour, approximately $60,000 to $78,000 annually based on a 50-hour work week. Potential for monthly bonus, where applicable by location. Competitive wages, Profit Sharing/Bonus, Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k with match, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Leave. Physical requirements
