Job Description & Requirements Specialty: RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 24 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Salinas Valley State Prison (CDCR) The Registered Dietitian (RD) at Salinas Valley State Prison is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing nutrition services that support the health and medical needs of an adult incarcerated population. The RD ensures compliance with California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) policies, Title 15 regulations, and evidence-based nutrition standards while promoting overall wellness in a correctional healthcare setting.
