We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Social Media Manager to significantly enhance our brand presence and cultivate strong online communities across our various social media platforms. This role is pivotal in developing, creating, and administering social media content that is designed to deeply engage users and foster an interactive relationship between our consumers and the company.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Strategy Development: Design and implement strategies to increase organic lead flow as brand awareness and generate new leads through different platforms.

Proactive Ideation: Actively ideate on new ways to gain exposure, increase engagement, and grow followers that directly lead to student enrollment.

Content Strategy: Create, own, and continually refine a cohesive social content strategy that aligns with overall corporate marketing goals.

On‑Camera Presence: Be comfortable being in front of the camera for video and/or audio content, whether taped or live, to execute engaging content ideas.

Platform Management:

TikTok: Lead the brainstorming, planning, filming and editing of on‑brand and engaging video content.

Meta: Manage the brainstorming, planning, and posting on‑brand picture and video content via reels, carousels and single image posts while maintaining a fashionable aesthetic of the grid.

YouTube: Focus on growing our subscriber base by posting full‑length videos from events and partnerships and posting videos created as needed.

LinkedIn: Develop and post strategic content designed for professional networking and broader community engagement.

Reddit: Own maintenance of account and actively review, respond and engage with subreddits, commenters.

Event Coverage & Collaboration: Work closely with the events and program directors on event coverage and promotional material creation.

Student Ambassadors: Lead the strategy, content standards, and overall execution for student content, encompassing the education, guidance, and management of student contributors.

Social Data Reporting & Analytics

Campaign Management: Initiate, implement, and collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns.

Performance Reporting: Regularly analyze and report on all social media performance metrics, translating complex social media data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations. Biweekly reporting.

Work closely with the marketing, enrollment teams and with program directors to develop social media campaigns, ensuring coverage that helps achieve corporate marketing goals.

Collaborate with the Senior Director of PR & Communications to ensure consistent brand messaging and synergy across all earned and owned media channels.

Content Management & Organization CMS/DAM Ownership: Own the organization and development of a Content Management System (CMS) and/or Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure all social media assets are centralized, easily accessible, and compliant with brand standards.

Community Management

Monitoring & Engagement: Proactively monitor the company's social media account for all comments, feedback, questions and inquiries.

Platform Coverage: Manage interactions coming from Instagram DMs, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.

Own the process of monitoring and responding to relevant discussions across platforms.

Interaction: Offer constructive interaction with users and remove any negative or damaging comments.

Graphic Design, Video Editing, & Copywriting

Graphic Design: Develop and create engaging graphics on brand with Istituto Marangoni’s image to utilize across social media platforms. Includes both digital and print materials.

Video Editing: Develop and create engaging video content on brand with Istituto Marangoni’s image to utilize across social media platforms. Includes research, coordination for filming, and editing Instagram reels, TikToks, and YouTube videos.

Copywriting: Create original, engaging, on‑brand tone in copy for social and for any other print or digital marketing material needs.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in social media management, email marketing, graphic design, and video editing.

Strong interest in fashion and culture, with the ability to stay atop current trends.

Knowledge and practical experience using professional video and photo equipment.

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.

Experience in graphic design with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign or Canva.

Experience in video editing with iMovie or Final Cut Pro.

Exceptional multi‑tasking skills and strong problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.

Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way.

Knowledge of Facebook’s and Google’s advertising platform preferred.

Knowledge of CRM systems preferred.

Knowledge of Dropbox and Monday.com required.
