Job Summary Graduate assistants will assist with the following:

Office administration (act as point of contact to office guests and assist with various administrative tasks) (30%)

Tutoring students in accounting (40%)

Perform special projects (10%)

Support student-related activities (10%)

Other duties as assigned (10%)

Required Qualifications

Be fully admitted to a graduate degree program at UWG. Please note: Students admitted provisionally are not eligible for assistantship positions.

Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Be enrolled full-time in a UWG graduate program during the assistantship period.

Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all previous and current graduate coursework.

Meet eligibility requirements for employment in the United States.

Possess strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Display strong writing and grammar skills

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

Enrolled in a Richards College graduate program

Proposed Salary Monthly stipend of $1,000

Reduced graduate tuition rate of $25 plus mandatory fees

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Work is predominantly performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.

Must have the ability to walk short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.
