Job Summary Student Assistants will work on a team comprised of their peers and professional staff in an effort to staff third party events and UWG Athletic events. Roles include but are not limited to the following:
Set up and tear down of the event
Security
Ticket Scanning
Locker Room Liaison
Officials Liaison
Parking
Usher
Greeter
Any other duty assigned by direct supervisor
Required Qualifications
Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade‑point average.
Willing to work long hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Event Management Experience
Customer Service Experience
Majoring in Sport Management or related field.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift 25 pounds.
Able to work weekends and nights.
