Accounts Payable & Payroll, Fiscal Analyst 1 (FA1)
Full-time, Permanent. Location: Enumclaw, WA. Work hours: flexible partial telework may be available. Overview
South Puget Sound Region Finance is looking for an Accounts Payable & Payroll Analyst to join a Fiscal Analyst team. The role supports 250 permanent & seasonal employees across multiple counties with internal policy, funding, and seasonal changes. Responsibilities
Process vendor and employee payment claims according to DNR and county agreements, contracts, and internal policy. Verify and reconcile semi‑monthly payroll for approximately 250 employees. Administer region credit card accounts. Deposit daily cash and checks received at the region office. Required Qualifications
One year of fiscal technical experience. Proficiency in Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience with Payroll and Accounts Payable. Experience using M365 – Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive. Knowledge of GAAP and accounting rules. Decision making within delegated authority. Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and environmental justice practices. Compliance with applicable laws and retention. Prioritization skills with inflexible deadlines. Associate degree or higher in accounting, auditing, budgeting. Knowledge of DNR or OFM financial policies.
