Line of Business: Services bancaires personnels et commerciaux Job Description: The Teller I works in a TD Store location and plays a key role in delivering legendary customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency, and educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions. Depth & Scope Executes TD\'s Brand promise to deliver a Legendary Customer experience in the Store Performs customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments Processes cash transactions with high accuracy: cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, night deposits Responds to and resolves customer inquiries using standard procedures, escalating to management as needed Engages in lobby leadership by welcoming customers and guiding them appropriately Identifies customer preferences and educates on self-service/digital options Advocates for customers by conducting needs-based conversations and referring to appropriate partners Makes sound decisions and provides timely problem resolution, escalating complex issues Ensures compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act) Verifies customer identities and follows authentication policies Balances cash drawers, ATMs and TCDs/TCRs as needed Adheres to safe deposit box procedures and operations Maintains cash drawers and vaults with secure handling Protects confidential customer information Follows dual control, security and audit measures to minimize loss Uses bank tools to detect and prevent fraud Completes required in-classroom and online training by due dates Education & Experience High school diploma or GED 6 months work-related experience preferred; or equivalent via volunteering, education, or military experience Ability to work during operating hours including weekends, evenings, holidays Demonstrated customer service skills preferred Strong organizational skills Detail-oriented Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment Excellent communication skills Physical Requirements Never: 0% ; Occasional: 1-33% ; Frequent: 34-66% ; Continuous: 67-100% Domestic Travel – Occasional; International Travel – Never Performing sedentary work – Frequent; Performing multiple tasks – Continuous; Operating standard office equipment – Continuous Sitting – Occasional; Standing – Continuous; Walking – Frequent Other physical actions include lifting/carrying, reaching, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and repetitive concentration as described in the original posting.
