Position Summary The Warehouse Shipping Receiving Clerk plays a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate flow of materials that support successful project execution. This position is responsible for pulling, preparing, and verifying product and equipment for delivery, coordinating with drivers and field teams, and ensuring shipments are loaded, secured, and equipped for safe transport. By maintaining an organized and efficient shipping process, the Warehouse Shipping Receiving Clerk directly supports project readiness, high customer satisfaction, and a well‑run warehouse environment.
Key Objectives
Accuracy & Efficiency – Ensure all shipments are prepared and verified to meet job requirements (correct product for project, equipment, tools, etc.)
Coordination – Communicate effectively with drivers, operations, and field teams to ensure job readiness.
Safety & Organization – Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area, following company safety policies and 5S methodology.
Team Support – Assist warehouse operations with receiving, inventory, and other tasks as needed.
Core Responsibilities Shipping & Coordination
Coordinate daily pulls of product, tools, and equipment for next‑day project schedules.
Verify the accuracy of shipments against job requirements.
Communicate with drivers, operations, and field teams to ensure smooth delivery and job readiness.
Safely load and secure shipments for transport, including necessary offloading equipment.
Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and required documentation.
Organization & Safety
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area in compliance with company safety policies and 5S methodology (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain).
Uphold company policies and promote a positive, respectful, and drug‑free work environment.
Warehouse Support
Maintain accurate shipping records and assist with inventory management.
Support receiving and general warehouse tasks as needed.
Complete all shipping activities within established timelines to keep projects on schedule.
Position Requirements
Previous experience in warehouse shipping, receiving, or logistics preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Clear communication skills with team members and drivers.
Basic computer skills, including use of company and warehouse software.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to walk and/or stand during shift.
Flexibility for occasional overtime based on workload.
