We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead to design, deploy, and support enterprise storage, backup, networking, and virtualization systems. The role involves leading a team, troubleshooting complex issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing guidance on infrastructure optimization and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and support storage, backup, and networking devices and systems.
Investigate network issues and resolve them within SLA parameters; provide root cause analysis as needed.
Plan, implement, and support changes to infrastructure systems.
Review and assist with backup and recovery planning and testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues.
Serve as an escalation point for support engineers.
Interact with hardware and software vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Provide recommendations to optimize performance, availability, and resource utilization.
Participate in training and mentoring of junior team members.
Develop and maintain systems architecture and procedural documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in administration, support, design, and implementation of enterprise network infrastructure.
Expertise in routing (BGP, RIPv2, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching (VLANs, capacity planning).
Experience with WAN technologies (MPLS, VPN) and VOIP/Wireless deployments.
5+ years of experience with SAN technologies (EMC, Nimble, NetApp, HPE) and backup solutions (Veeam, Barracuda, eVault, Veritas, BackupExec, Commvault).
VMware virtualization experience.
CompTIA A+, Network+ certifications.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supporting 24x7x365 service delivery environments.
Self-starter able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with AWS Route 53, Azure Traffic Manager, and global availability strategies.
Experience with Azure ExpressRoute and/or AWS Direct Connect.
Infosec experience.
Cisco or related network certifications.
VMware certifications.
ITIL v4 certification.
