SayPro – Territory Development Manager – New York – SayPro
Territory Development Manager – Unilever Food Solutions (UFS). This remote role based in New York City focuses on driving sustainable business growth through engagement with Operators, Chains, and Trade Partners.
Pay : $69,360–$104,040 (base). Bonus and LTI eligibility. Company benefits include health, retirement, life, disability, parental, and vacation.
Purpose of the Role
– Drive growth via new & current customers, leverage data, CRM, and digital tools to plan and execute multi‑touch sales calls. Accountable for tying Sales Growth, Reach, Penetration, Digital Engagement, and presentations to Operators & Distributors.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Creation – Engage local chain accounts and operators; execute full account‑management approach; 20% online 80% F2F call mix.
Solution Selling – Convert business insights into activation; use market trends for concept selling; prepare visits with solution recommendation.
Virtual Culinary Consultation – Conduct online demos, cooking demos, and virtual sampling to secure new opportunities or volume increases.
Relationship Management – Build & nurture relationships with local distributor sales reps; coordinate key trade‑customer promotions and claims settlement.
Data Management – Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to manage workflow, maintain contact matrix, and close sales.
Critical Skills Required
Hunter with 70% hunting, 30% farming; fast adopter of contemporary technology and AI.
Proficient MS Office, Power BI, Excel.
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and solution‑oriented.
Curious; constantly learning market trends.
Experience selling premium brands with storytelling; culinary solution knowledge.
Bilingual a plus (Spanish, Mandarin).
Essential Experiences
CPG Foodservice B2B sales experience.
Culinary/chef selling or network of foodservice operator partners.
CRM (Salesforce) operator experience.
Market/geographic knowledge; food university background (CIA, Food & Hospitality).
Multi‑national corporate experience.
