Oversee day‑to‑day store operations while maintaining high standards in cost control, inventory management, cash handling, customer service, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
Manage all tasks during your shift: cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations, setting the example for the crew.
Follow ALL policies and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.
Responsible for staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, schedule adherence, image, and customer service excellence.
Maintain attendance, punctuality and ensure transportation to or from work.
Keep the store clean, handle marketing activities, and drive profitability.
General Job Duties for All Store Team Members
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Essential Functions / Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to perform rapid precise movements.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Physical Requirements
Standing – most tasks are performed from a standing position. Work surfaces are 36–48 inches high.
Walking/Jogging/Running – for short distances or durations.
Sitting – paperwork is normally completed at a desk or table.
Lifting – bulk product deliveries are made twice a week; items up to 50 lb with dimensions up to 3′ × 1.5′ are lifted and stacked up to 72″ high.
Carrying – large bags, boxes, and crates up to 50 lb; trays of pizza dough (≈12 lb each) carried three at a time over short distances.
Pushing – moving trays on dollies; approx. 24–30 trays require up to 7.5 lb of force.
Climbing – infrequent navigation of stairs or a ladder for maintenance or signage.
Stooping/Bending – forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station, repeated continuously (45–120 s) and at the front counter.
Crouching/Squatting – performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching – up, down, and forward; sometimes above 72″, sometimes down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes.
Hand Tasks – continuous eye‑hand coordination, frequent use of hands, forearms, wrists, and the pizza peel or rolling cutter.
