Compensation: $20-24.00/hour Locations: Broussard, LA Assignment Duration: 12 months + Work Schedule: M-F / 7AM-4PM Comprehensive benefits with 401(k), Holidays and PTO Local Resident Responsibilities
Responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules Loading / unloading orders onto and from trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock and configuring outgoing parcels Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup as directed (pick, pack, wrap, label, load) Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, label, store) Perform inventory controls and assist in Cycle Counts Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Report any discrepancies Communicate and cooperate with supervisors, coworkers and business partners Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment Follow quality service standards and comply with safety procedures, rules and regulations Qualifications
Proven experience as a Warehouse Worker Understanding of warehousing practices and methods Physically able to withstand heat dust, minor lifting (up to 50 lbs.) Become certified on various types of forklifts and overhead cranes Good organizational and time management skills Capable of comprehending shipping and receiving documentation Must have acute attention to detail Become familiar with inventory software, databases and systems Capable of working cohesively with a dynamic team Able to communicate clearly Potentially available for after hours on call rotation High School or GED required The Bergaila Way
