We are currently looking for a highly motivated mid-level FEA engineer with a BS/MS and least 5 (preferably 10) years of work experience, at a fast paced, internationally growing organization with a start-up culture. In this role, you will participate in a wide range of real-world consulting projects including the design, analysis, and optimization of turbomachinery components.

Create finite element models of complex components (rotating and stationary) and assemblies for structural analysis. Perform static steady state / transient, modal, shock, and fatigue analyses for turbomachinery components such as blades, impellers, rotors, casings, etc. Analyze results for stress, strain, displacement, modes, etc. and conclude on machine reliability. Prepare final reports, formal documentation, and presentation materials summarizing analysis results and presenting results internally and to clients. Support FEA software development group and deliver software demonstrations to prospective and current clients. Qualifications:
BS / MS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related science. 5 – 10 years of experience in Structural Analysis Solid knowledge of strength and structural vibrations. Understanding of structural analysis methods (including FEA). Proficient with commercial finite element analysis programs preferable ANSYS Mechanical and/or Siemens Simcenter Knowledge of CAD tools is preferred. Background in turbomachinery components mechanical analysis is preferred. Ability to work independently and develop advanced technical principles, techniques, and concepts.
