Position Summary Bilfinger Inc. is looking for a Project Controls Manager for a project.

Duties and Responsibilities

Proven ability to build and lead project controls teams.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to provide direction, engage team members, manage conflicts and overcome resistance to lead the program through the project life cycle.

Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences (in person and in writing) with strong listening and presentation skills.

Ability to manage Project Controls on large construction projects ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Ensure Project Controls standards, guidelines, and tools are affectively used on the project.

Conduct audits of the project control system, deliverables, and procedures.

Provide PC presentations to management and clients as needed.

Experience related to downstream engineering, procurement, and construction execution of capital projects for the manufacturing industry.

Experienced and highly competent in all facets of Project Controls including cost control, scheduling, and risk management.

Proficient in cost control to include budgets, change orders, commitments, actuals, ETC, forecasting and cash flow.

Able to produce change order and variance logs for cost and schedule.

Proficient in the application of contingency.

Application of KPIs

Knowledge of over / under billing concept

Understanding of schedule development, critical path analysis, resource loading requirements, progress updating & reporting, trend development, forecasting of schedule performance, and mitigation plans.

Proficient with rules of credits and earned value, productivity, and production tracking.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience, with 5 years in a managerial role.

B.S. Construction Mgt. / Construction Science / or related engineering degree
