We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, and professional Administration Manager to lead our administrative functions and ensure the effective operation of our school office. This is a senior support role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This role is 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (Term Time plus INSETS and one additional week). Salary Band E, £27,852 - £29,716 per annum for full time. Pro rata salary £24,899 - £26,566 per annum.
Role Purpose To lead, manage and co‑ordinate the Academy’s administration systems, reprographics, reception and general workflows including supervising the team, facilitating communication throughout the Academy and developing procedures to make the workplace more efficient. To maintain the smooth running of the Admissions process within the Academy for Y7 and In Year Admissions Y7-11.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administration or office management role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software systems
Ability to lead and motivate a small team effectively
Attention to detail with strong problem‑solving abilities
