2G Engineering designs and manufactures advanced subsea systems, and we are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our multidisciplinary engineering team. In this role, you’ll guide the design, development, and validation of products across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software disciplines — ensuring high-quality execution, engineering excellence, and alignment with AS9100 and Quality Management System standards.

What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate product design, development, and validation activities Drive execution of engineering milestones and the product development roadmap Facilitate design reviews and ensure accurate documentation and BOMs Maintain compliance with AS9100 standards and engineering quality requirements Develop and implement engineering policies, procedures, and best practices Allocate resources, set priorities, and guide day‑to‑day technical work Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development support Conduct performance reviews and support hiring and onboarding Address performance challenges constructively and consistently Oversee training programs related to product development and engineering controls Support Sales by estimating engineering labor for quotes and creating technical collateral Lead verification and validation planning, including test strategies and fixtures Represent engineering in customer meetings and technical discussions Support continuous improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency initiatives Maintain engineering documentation, configuration control, and traceability What You Bring
Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent Hands‑on experience with a Product Data Management system 4+ years of experience managing technical staff Preferred Strengths
Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications Experience presenting technical information to customers and leadership teams Strong troubleshooting ability and comfort with complex engineering problems Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe tools Ability to lead independently, work cross‑functionally, and encourage team ownership Physical Requirements
Ability to lift/move up to 80 lbs on occasion. Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands; some crouching or kneeling. Work Environment
