Help bring advanced subsea technology to life. 2G Engineering designs and manufactures high-performance subsea actuators and custom electronic assemblies. We’re looking for an Electrical Test Technician to join our AS9100-certified production team and support testing, assembly, and quality verification activities.
In this role, you’ll work hands‑on with actuators, circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and test equipment to ensure products perform to specification. If you enjoy problem‑solving, electrical testing, and working in a fast‑paced technical environment, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
Test actuators and electronic assemblies to ensure quality and performance
Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain test fixtures and diagnostic equipment
Create and maintain accurate test documentation and records
Provide status updates and communicate timelines to production and engineering
Perform entry‑level PCB assembly, soldering, and inspection
Support troubleshooting, repairs, and root‑cause analysis
Collaborate with engineering to refine tests, improve workflows, and solve issues
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED required
Strong understanding of basic electronics and mechanical concepts
Experience in testing or quality roles preferred
Ability to interpret diagrams, schematics, and technical documents
Skill in soldering, PCB work, or wire harness assembly a plus
Bonus Skills
Associate degree in electrical or computer engineering technology
Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610/620 standards
Experience with diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.)
Exposure to CAD, 3D printing, or laser‑based equipment
Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 environments
Strong computer or IT skills, including scripting or driver installation
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (and up to 80 lbs with assistance)
Frequent standing, sitting, walking, crouching, and kneeling
