Overview: The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent) and delegated tasks under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and BHSF policy. The CP collaborates with the RN to provide safe, patient-centered care. Examples of activities that cannot be delegated include assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on patient care. Responsibilities
Provide basic nursing skills and delegated tasks under RN supervision (e.g., wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter). Collaborate with the assigned RN to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in Telemetry PCU. Qualifications
Degrees: High School, GED, certificate, training, or equivalent experience. Licenses & Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse; Basic Life Support; Certified Nursing Assistant. Additional Qualifications: CNA or LPN license required; clinical partners hired before 10/1/20 have two years to obtain Florida CNA licensure; 1 year of experience preferred; prior CNA or LPN experience in an acute care Florida facility preferred. Salary: Estimated pay range $16.04 - $20.85 per hour, depending on experience. EEO statement: EOE, including disability/vets.
