Kierstead Search Group, a premier nationwide executive search firm, has partnered with a prominent manufacturing company in the Southwest, OH area to help them find a Controller with entrepreneurial spirit that wants to leave their legacy on an organization. Due to the organization's growth, this is a critical role in the company’s growth trajectory, and the processes and systems you will put in place will have a direct impact on the future of the company. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a motivated self-starter that wants to add more value and work autonomously.
Qualifications
Accounting/Finance leadership in a manufacturing environment
Experience putting processes in place and reorganizing and evolving Accounting/Finance
Small company experience and ability/willingness to wear many hats including monthly and annual closings, working with outside CPA firm for year end reviews, managing and running an annual physical inventory, and performing cost accounting and financial analysis
Cost Accounting experience and job costing for a custom shop
Forecasting (13 weeks rolling cash forecast), budgeting, and FP&A as well as inventory control
Strong leadership experience (team of 3 in Accounting then adding IT and Supply Chain eventually) while being a working manager
