Our client, a leading litigation law firm with offices throughout the Northeast, has an immediate need for an experienced
Civil Litigation Legal Assistant , to join our winning team in Manchester.
Our candidate of choice will provide hands‑on support to attorneys in a fast‑paced environment while operating efficiently and remaining organized and adaptable to our needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
Check schedules, coordinate meetings, and answer client and court inquiries.
Prepare and revise legal documents, manage e‑filings, and maintain organized paper and electronic files.
Strong ability to juggle multiple calendars, proofread pleadings, or step in to assist a colleague.
At least three (3) years of recent experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar litigation support role within a law firm.
A solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures, along with excellent organizational, proofreading, and multitasking skills.
Prior experience with federal and state court e‑filings.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic calendaring, and PDF software.
Solid verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills are crucial.
An associate’s degree or paralegal certification (bachelor’s degree a plus), preferred.
