Summary The Project Coordinator will be a key member of the operations team, supporting Lead Technicians and Project Managers with project administrative duties. This position does not require industry experience but requires a strong work ethic and organizational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Leads and Project Managers with day-to-day project administrative functions.
Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, timecards, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
Ensure project deadlines are met.
Provide administrative support as needed.
Develop project strategies with Lead Technician, Superintendent, and Project Manager.
Ensure projects adhere to requirements and documentation is maintained appropriately.
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions.
Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes.
Coordinate, manage, and arrange travel for technicians.
Create teams, develop objectives/goals, and assign responsibilities.
Perform project accounting functions including managing budgets and tracking expenses.
Order, track, sort, inventory, and receive materials.
Track labor production to ensure milestones are met.
Collaborate with the entire organization.
Act as primary liaison between Project Manager and Lead Technicians.
Submit access requests for employees and testers.
Manage all test results and maintain them in the project’s as-built folder.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience.
2 years of experience on construction projects.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Good understanding of building networks.
Ability to plan and organize a team effort.
Good client management and building goodwill.
Capacity to motivate, lead, and boost team morale.
Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
Strong focus on quality and safety.
