Role Description We are seeking a dedicated full-time Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team on-site in Elmhurst, IL. The role involves managing financial transactions, updating and maintaining financial records, processing payroll, preparing tax documents, and reconciling accounts, using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online. Additional responsibilities include assisting with payroll processing and sales tax filing. The candidate will play an essential role in providing accurate financial reporting and contributing to the success of our clients.
Qualifications
Proficiency in bookkeeping and financial accounting
Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation
Strong skills in data entry, account reconciliation, and attention to detail
Proficiency in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Desktop and online is a must.
Ability to analyze and validate financial data for accuracy
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is helpful
Prior experience in a CPA firm or small business environment is a plus
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
