Rock Plumbing, Heating & Air is a fast-growing company looking to hire a ROCK STAR BOOKKEEPER with a fun energetic personality who wants to work for a great company! This is a full-time position, working as part of our dynamic team to assist in managing our day-to-day financial operations and support accurate, timely reporting. Position Summary

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts, and supporting payroll and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate has experience in the home services or construction trades industry and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and loan statements Process payroll and ensure accurate tracking of labor costs, overtime, and commissions Track job costing, vendor expenses, and inventory-related transactions Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and expense analysis Support external accountants with tax preparation, audits, and compliance filings Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices Collaborate with operations and management to resolve billing or financial discrepancies Required Qualifications

3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in HVAC, construction, or home services Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, AP/AR, and reconciliations Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) or similar systems Familiarity with payroll processing and basic HR/payroll compliance High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Preferred Qualifications

Experience with job costing and service-based billing Knowledge of sales tax, payroll tax, and contractor-related compliance Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience working in a small to mid-sized business environment What We Offer
