Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
Position Overview The Production Supervisor directs the activities of a recognized manufacturing department. Makes sure production schedules and quality standards are met. Responsible for the safety of all employees in the department. Administers company policies to the department. Assists in hiring and succession planning.
Essential Functions
Oversee production schedule and quality standards of the department.
Ensure safety of the team.
Lead continuous improvement and cost control initiatives such as scrap, rework, and manufacturing process cost reductions; prepare materials and present monthly meetings.
Supervise employees—train, maintain records, write and present evaluations; assist in hiring; set goals and track progress.
Required Experience
Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role.
Strong leadership abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication and problem‑solving skills.
Intermediate computer skills (MS Office).
Basic financial understanding.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Moderate noise level in the work environment.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
Frequent lifting or moving up to 30 pounds.
Frequent standing, bending, squatting, and reaching with hands and arms.
Regular standing for extended periods, walking, talking, and hearing.
Use of hand tools.
Reading applicable instructions.
