Organizes and reviews incoming test results and forwards them to the physician, tracking impending test results and following up with patients as needed. Recognizes and responds to emergencies. Performs tests and prepares specimens for outside lab testing as ordered by the physician. Maintains examination rooms and treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness. Manages inventory of clinical supplies, bio-hazardous waste, and sample medications, ensuring proper labeling, disposal, and sterilization of instruments. Prepares and assists patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments. Maintains medication and immunization records. Other duties as assigned. Schedules inpatient/outpatient admissions and procedures, providing cross-training and relief for other staff members as needed. Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patients using established guidelines. Qualification Requirements
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: High School Grad or Equiv (Required) Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement Pay Range
