Responsibilities

Collaborate with the treatment team to assess patient needs related to discharge planning and coordinate interventions with other team members, ensuring quality, cost‑effective care.

Work with Utilization Review to meet funding source requirements and legal process requirements for patients on involuntary status.

Facilitate individual and family therapies, daily group therapy for assigned unit(s), and complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments.

Support an organizational culture of Service Excellence and uphold Service Excellence Standards for all customer groups.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Demonstrate leadership in departmental services through a collaborative process integrating services/functions throughout NWTHS.

Assess or coordinate patient healthcare and educational needs, collaborating with all team members to meet those needs.

Orchestrate patient hospital processes for seamless, efficient care.

Allocate human and material resources effectively to meet patient care needs.

Comply with annual education requirements and safety and injury prevention standards to minimize risk.

Qualifications

Licensed Therapist Credentials: LPC, LPC‑Associate, LCSW, LMSW, or LMFT, licensed in Texas with a Master’s Degree in Mental or Behavioral Health.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 30 days of start date, maintained throughout employment.

Physical And Sensory Requirements

Read and write in English.

Speak and hear to facilitate discussions with employees and peers.

Remain calm under stress and respond to pages.

Evaluate and interpret information, making independent decisions.

Twist, squat, and stoop repeatedly; lift (minimum 25 pounds); grasp; fine hand coordination; push; pull.

Understand and interpret financial data.
