Embedded Software Engineer - Early Career - Dallas, TX. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Software Engineer in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications. Tasks will involve requirement, design, code, test, and integrate software for an embedded multi-core system as well as desktop computer applications for emulation of sensors and countermeasures. The successful candidate will have training in C/C++, prior experience in GUI development, experience with Linux OS, and previous intern experience. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications for emulation of sensors and countermeasures Contribute to requirements, design, code, test, and integration efforts for embedded multi-core systems Collaborate with team members on GUI development and software integration Basic Qualifications

BS or MS degree from an accredited university in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related major Ability to obtain DoD Clearance Demonstrated ability with language: C/C++ Demonstrated ability with Linux or Windows or similar operating systems experience Desired Skills

Embedded Software experience (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Beaglebone, Robotics, UAV, automated pattern recognition) Git Pipeline Knowledge (GitLab preferred; GitHub, etc. also acceptable) Multi-core and multi-threaded C++ programming Hardware/Software integration Experience working in a large code base Agile/Scrum practice Clearance and Special Access
