Receive incoming equipment and verify shipments against receiving documents. Unload, scan, and key receipt information into the computer system. Inspect for in-transit damage and hazardous material. Prepare receipt documents manually if necessary. Load, unload, and place supplies and equipment in storage and shipping areas. Report tampered or broken seals on containers to supervisor and on-site government representative. Store, stack, palletize, and rotate items considering their use, size, shape, quantity, and special handling requirements. Perform stock issue and material shipping functions, including selecting and assembling items based on priority and type of transaction. Provide inventory support assistance by counting items and completing inventory documentation. Operate manual and automated packaging equipment as required. Working Conditions
May handle equipment/supplies weighing up to 50 pounds individually and occasionally items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance. Able to exert moderate physical effort in the loading, unloading, and arranging of equipment/supplies. Work inside and/or outside in dirty and dusty environments, occasionally exposed to hot, cold, damp, and drafty weather conditions while handling equipment/supplies. Perform work on hard or uneven surfaces. Qualifications
One+ year of warehouse experience preferred. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong planning, controlling, executing, multi-tasking skills and responsibility for successful completion of work requirements. Effective English reading and writing, comprehension of written instructions, common mathematical tasks, and effective communication. Education
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications
