About the Role:
We’re looking for a
Human Resource Coordinator
who enjoys variety, people interaction, and being a key support partner in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role supports both
HR and Safety (EHS)
functions and plays a meaningful role in recruiting, onboarding, training delivery, compliance, and employee engagement.
If you’re organized, approachable, comfortable speaking in front of groups, want hands‑on exposure to how HR works in a manufacturing setting and can work on‑site - this could be a great fit!

Full-Time, Salaried (Exempt)
Pay:
$70,000 - $85,000 – Compensation will be evaluated depending on candidates’ knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Travel:
10-15%
What You’ll Be Doing: Recruiting & Onboarding
Post job openings, track applicants, and coordinate interviews
Support pre‑employment processes (screenings, references, documentation)
Prepare new hire packets and help deliver a smooth, welcoming orientation experience
Maintain accurate recruiting and onboarding records in HR systems
Training & Safety Support
Schedule, coordinate, and
conduct employee training sessions , including:
New hire orientation
HR policy and compliance training
Safety refreshers and required certifications
Prepare training materials, attendance records, and follow‑up documentation
Assist with safety programs such as PPE distribution, hearing/vision testing, and respirator fit testing coordination
Support monthly safety meetings and related documentation
HR Administration & Employee Support
Maintain personnel files and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality
Respond to basic employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures
Assist with benefits documentation and employee communications
Support payroll accuracy by collecting time data or processing basic updates
Help coordinate company events, recognition efforts, and engagement activities
What We’re Looking For: Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Associate degree or equivalent experience considered for strong candidates
Prior HR or administrative experience is helpful
Experience in a
manufacturing environment is highly preferred
Training facilitation or presentation experience is a plus
Skills & Strengths
Strong organization and attention to detail
Comfortable speaking in front of small to mid‑sized groups
Clear, professional communication style
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn HRIS and safety systems
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Office and manufacturing floor environment
Ability to work on‑site at the Chittenango facility
Required PPE in plant areas (safety glasses and steel‑toe footwear)
