Program Support Specialist – Department The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is recruiting for a Program Support Specialist. The role is responsible for managing various functions of the application process for the Entry Level Driver’s Training (ELDT) program. The specialist works with the Maintenance Trainer to ensure customers receive support and resources to complete the ELDT program. This position coordinates front‑desk work assignments, provides program and project support to the Maintenance Division, and assists with front‑desk coverage from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The role reports to the Budget Manager/DES Coordinator and does not directly supervise others.

Responsibilities

Manage the application process for the Entry Level Driver’s Training (ELDT) program.

Coordinate front‑desk work assignments with the Section Manager.

Provide program and project support to the Maintenance Division.

Assist with front‑desk coverage from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Collaborate with the Maintenance Trainer to ensure customers receive necessary support and resources.
