Management Analyst - Office of Equitable Transit and Mobility

The City of Richmond, Department of Public Works is currently seeking a candidate to fill the position of Management Analyst within the Office of Equitable Transit and Mobility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of highly confidential and complex administrative, technical and project management duties in support of the Deputy Director of Public Works.
This position is considered an Essential Personnel, which means that the incumbent is required to work when the City is closed due to public emergencies, critical or hazardous conditions or inclement weather.
This individual may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays or on-call, as needed.
Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive customer service and delivering accurate, prompt, and courteous assistance on policies, guidelines, and standard practices to internal and external customers, verbally and in writing
Facilitating special projects to include the execution and management of the projects.
Performing general office operations to include budgeting, accounts payable and operating task as assigned.
Researching, analyzing, and writing reports
Providing support for innovation and continuous improvement teams
Providing Main Street Station events support, including evenings and weekends
Providing venue sales and promotion support
Providing facility maintenance support
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Training and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business/public administration or a field related to the assignment.
Two years of paraprofessional experience in an area related to the assignment, such as assisting with program or project administration and management analysis.
An equivalent combination of training and experience (as approved by the department) may be used to meet the minimum qualifications of the classification.
