Serving as a Facilities Project Manager GS-1601-12 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Charleston Administration Division under the Mission and Readiness Support Directorate located in Charleston, South Carolina. The primary purpose of this position is to provide project management services for construction and renovation projects. The position is key in the development, monitoring and coordination of construction projects at the Charleston Training Delivery Point (TDP) and the Naval Weapons Station. The position ensures standardization is maintained between Glynco FMD and CHA as it relates to policies, processes, procedures, and communications. Typical duties include: Requirements
You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position. Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service. You must successfully pass a background investigation. Bargaining Unit: This is a bargaining unit covered position, represented under the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU). You will need to set up direct deposit so we can pay you. Must possess and maintain a valid state issued driver's license to conduct official government business. This position requires you to have access, safeguard, and store classified national security information on a regular basis. You must be able to obtain and maintain a (Secret) security clearance. Occasional travel may be required. Overtime may be required. Shift work may be required. Weekends and federal holidays may be required. Required to complete an OGE 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, within 30 days of starting your federal employment and annually thereafter if you occupy a position that requires financial disclosure reporting. Must be able to obtain and maintain all training for a DHS Program Manager Level III certification within 12 months of employment. Must possess and maintain Federal Acquisition Certification - Contracting Officer Representative (FACCOR) Level III certification; or have the requisite experience to obtain and maintain certification. Must be able to obtain and maintain Hazardous Waste Management Certification. This position is Emergency Essential and required to sustain FLETC’s operations under all conditions in the event of a localized emergency to ensure FLETC Continuity of Operations for Mission Essential Functions.
