Responsibilities
Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality instruction to students; communicate with the department chair or administrator.
Teach MRT 218 (Quality Management). Textbook topics include: Facility Performance Improvement Model, Continuous Monitoring and Improvement Functions, Management of Performance Improvement Programs.
Education & Experience
Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology or a related field (e.g., Nursing or allied health field) required.
Experience in Healthcare Quality Management preferred.
Required certifications: RHIA, RHIT or CPHQ.
Qualifications
Ability to successfully teach the MRT course.
Position Status Part Time
Hours and Scheduling Spring Semester: Monday afternoons. Other semesters may be available. Primarily main campus.
Compensation Salary: $1,162 per ECH. Hourly/Salary: Hourly.
