Requisition No:867516 Agency: Commerce Working Title: OPS GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS CONSULTANT II - 40090051 The OPS Government Operations Consultant II position supports the Office of Long-Term Resiliency, Rebuild Florida Program. The position is a Constituent Management Services Analyst and acts as initial contact for the Rebuild Florida Program. This position coordinates between all program areas and related vendors to provide constituents, stakeholders, and other external entities accurate and helpful information. Your Specific Responsibilities:

Understanding Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program objectives Obtaining a working knowledge of Rebuild Florida program applicant needs and program eligibility criteria Understanding program processes and communicating clearly and actively with applicants and inquirers Supporting efforts to respond to constituent concerns, questions or complaints with accurate information provided by the related program area. Investigating, assessing, analyzing and making recommendations to resolve issues and problems. Providing direction, guidance and counsel to program leads and their staffs in the management and operation of the Office of Disaster Recovery. Supporting efforts to brief all appropriate program leads on project activities. Composing correspondence, memoranda and reports as directed. Attending meetings on behalf of the Constituent Management Services Lead, as directed. Coordinating regularly with Program Leads to prepare responses to complaints and inquiries Ensuring that any information provided to Rebuild Florida program applicants or complainants are documented in case notes Entering necessary data in the program tracking systems and maintaining constituent files to meet program standards Maintaining constituent casework records in an accurate, complete, and confidential manner Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to understand and apply rules, policies and procedures relating to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work activities. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy, customer service, or ethics Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to maintain confidentiality of program/constituent information Knowledge of applicable Florida Statutes. Other duties as required. Pay: 25.00 Per Hour Our Organization and Mission:
