Responsibilities

Maintain the proper and appropriate professional and ethical relationship with vendor representatives and conduct business according to established principles and guidelines.

Use iPad/Wavemark to order and stock medical supplies for a variety of nursing units.

Maintain correct par levels and check for expired products.

Communicate with clinical staff in situations of shortages, usage, back orders, sub products, and new conversions.

Receive shipments into Oracle or RF Smart and process UPS/Fedex inbound and outbound shipments.

Manage dock operations and interact with different carriers to ensure all trucks are unloaded in a timely manner.

Make internal deliveries and track inventory.

Complete cycle counts and daily pick sheets.

Manage STAT supply requests for the entire hospital.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Knowledge of medical supplies.

Operate pallet jack and lift up to 70 pounds.

Push/pull loaded skids of material.

Basic computer skills and inventory knowledge are preferred.

Physical Requirements

Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.

May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk throughout the health system to attend meetings.

Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to communicate verbally by phone or in person.

Must have own transportation for travel to multiple sites.

Pay Range Minimum hourly: $15.25 Maximum hourly: $19.60
