US:WI:OAK CREEK at our CP-DREXEL TOWN SQ HLTH CENTER facility.
Employment Type:
Full-time (FTE: 0.50, Standard Hours: 20.00)
Shift:
Shift 1 – Monday & Wednesday 7:30 am – 4 pm with one flex day possibly at another site to cover PTO. Working five to seven Saturdays a year from 7:45 am to 1 pm. No holidays or call.
Job Summary Performs high quality diagnostic sonographic examinations and assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Provides guidance and instruction for students, residents, and other technologists as needed.
Experience & Qualifications
Department related sonography experience preferred.
Graduate of an accredited program (CAAHEP or CMA) in diagnostic medical sonography, diagnostic cardiac sonography, or vascular technology. Completion of an ARRT approved program required for those also functioning as a Radiologic Technologist. Staff hired before 1/1/21 may hold an associate degree and 2 years of ultrasound experience.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
ARDMS certified in breast ultrasound and physics (BR) or ARRT with advanced certification in Breast Sonography (BS) required within 12 months for ARRT or 9 months for ARDMS.
Sign‑on bonus of $5,000 available for this position.
