Mechanical Rental Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a supervisor who will ensure mechanical readiness, safety, continuous improvement, and production capacity while leading a team of artisans. Job Type
Full-time Responsibilities
Provide leadership, mentorship, guidance, and coaching to all maintenance artisans. Maintain equipment inventory and storage areas in an orderly and safe manner. Supervise equipment maintenance per RTI’s Mechanical Global Maintenance Procedures. Reduce capital expenditure by optimizing production and expediting “Ready for Issue” status. Supervise equipment certification & readiness program using technology. Ensure timely request of support supplies. Maintain production reports. Champion shop safety, correct unsafe behaviors, reinforce culture. Analyze shop performance, identify bottlenecks, drive lean improvements. Foster team atmosphere, invest in growth, encourage and facilitate development. Leverage technical expertise to troubleshoot and train others. Maintain a forward‑looking mindset with passion for scale. Identify and act on vertical integration opportunities. Act with empathy, professionalism, and calm under pressure. Supervisory Responsibilities
Conduct semi‑annual performance reviews on direct reports. Prioritize technician workload for project fulfillment. Review and approve timesheets, vacation requests, expense reports. Lead, train, and develop reporting technicians in maintenance activities with safety emphasis. Build shop culture through presence, accountability, and encouragement aligned with RTI mission. Minimum Qualifications
Validity Driver’s License and ability to operate a forklift. Comfortable using hand tools and basic computer (Outlook & Excel). Organize and maintain maintenance shop areas. Knowledge of mechanical equipment and pipe work. Ability to coordinate shipments and identify needs from multiple sources. Preferred Qualifications
Documented mechanical aptitude or formal mechanical education. Forklift operator certification. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or P&ID drawings. Working Conditions / Physical Demands
Primary shop office/warehouse type environment. May be required to carry up to 40 lbs, climb stairs, work inclement weather, be on feet for 12‑hour shift. Hands‑on leadership daily on floor, side‑by‑side with team. Travel Requirements
Limited travel – less than 10%. About Refined Technologies
