The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the company’s growing portfolio by ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple properties and operating environments. This individual will work closely with operations, property managers, and leadership to manage the month‑end close, maintain strong internal controls, and provide meaningful financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Lead month‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly financial statements for multiple properties and business units
Analyze P&Ls by location, identifying trends, variances, and operational drivers
Reconcile cash, revenue, and activity reports
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts in partnership with operations leadership
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Assist with year‑end close, audits, and tax support as needed
Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, payroll, and billing teams to resolve discrepancies
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
Assist with ERP conversion activities, including data migration support, UAT testing, reconciliations, and training support
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multi‑location or service‑based environment
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations
Experience supporting multiple entities, locations, or properties
Sage Intacct experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast‑paced, operationally driven business
