Senior Patient Services Specialist
Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring a Senior Patient Services Specialist to maintain high patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service in front and back office roles.
Position Details
Full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
Perform administrative tasks in the front office
Escort patients to the exam room and conduct routine rooming tasks
Greet incoming patients, obtain initial vital signs (height, weight, BP, pulse, respirations), and document patient care information
Prepare rooms for new patients, stock room supplies and carts, and manage supplies to minimize waste
Required Qualifications
AHA BLS certification upon hire
1 year of customer service experience or completion of Providence internship
Experience with medical terminology
Completed rooming training
Preferred Qualifications
Basic experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems
Medical office or healthcare experience
