Associate Attorney

with a passion for family law to join our growing team.

P.D.E - Pay Depends on Experience

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of family law matters from initial consultation through resolution

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal briefs

Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as needed

Client Counseling: Help clients navigate the emotional and legal complexities of family law with empathy and clarity

Settlement Negotiations: Work to resolve disputes amicably and efficiently, minimizing prolonged litigation

Maintain regular client communication and provide high-level service

Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff

Work closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop legal strategies

Stay informed on developments in Texas family law and related legal trends

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas

Good standing with Texas Bar

Minimum 3 years of family law experience preferred (clerkships and internships considered)

Must have courtroom experience, including temporary hearings, motion practice, and trials, with a demonstrated ability to advocate effectively and achieve favorable outcomes.

Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in legal research databases, case management software, and other technology tools that enhance legal practice efficiency

Strong legal writing and communication skills

Excellent judgment, ethics, and professionalism

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Board Certification in Family Law or interest in pursuing certification is a plus
