$45,000.00/yr - $52,000.00/yr Duties And Responsibilities

The Safety, Security & Transportation Manager supervises the day-to-day operations of the Safety, Security and Transportation department to provide maximum safety and security for students, staff, center property and the surrounding community. The Safety, Security & Transportation Manager evaluates staff performance and provides staff training and implements departmental personnel changes as approved by the Center Director. Develops and monitors staff schedules for 24-hour, 7-day-a-week coverage. Develops and maintains Center Safety Plan, Emergency and Disaster Plan (and weather-related Evacuation Plan) and conducts the yearly risk assessment survey. Establishes and communicates safety, security, and fire prevention policies with pertinent center and DOL regulations to students and staff. Serves as the center’s representative and maintains effective liaison with law enforcement agencies in the community. Responsible for monitoring all center facilities to ensure compliance with OSHA Standards. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, police science or related field preferred. Three to five years of work-related experience in a supervisory capacity preferred. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred. Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
